William Franklin is a self-taught artist, inheriting his talents through three generations of artists on both sides of his family. Now having painted murals for over a decade, William has become accomplished in many styles and techniques, yet still relishes the challenge of improving and growing with each new project.

William has always had an affinity for French and Italian "old world" art. He is an admirer of Baroque and Pre-Raphaelite period artists whose influences on his work are evident in his highly formal, romantic compositions and rich color palettes. William has spent time in London and Paris studying the works of the great masters, divining the tricks and secrets they used, learning from their techniques and melding them with his own.

William Franklin has had commissions throughout the US and Europe. His works have been featured in magazines such as Traditional Homes, Distinctive Homes of Miami and the Beaches, and just about every local publication; Oklahoma Magazine, Urban Tulsa, Tulsa People, and the Tulsa World.

His works grace the walls and ceilings of many historic homes such as; The Skelly Mansion, Schusterman Mansion, and Warrenwood Cottage of London. And countless more distinguished newer homes like; Villa de Lazzio and Sylvan Manor, featured in Tulsa's first Street of Dreams.

Working with interior designers from London to Dallas, New York to Tulsa; William has brought to an ever increasing list of lucky clients, one of a kind murals, turning their dreams into reality.
